The amazingly fun day that wasn’t caught on motion video did serve a purpose. Millie will be receiving a location scout credit for the intro footage that I had to reshoot yesterday. Time wasn’t on my side but I managed to get all the footage I needed within just a few hours.
Thankfully, not all was lost from the Sunday shoot. I still took around 50 pictures, including the dinner in the Space Needle. So the moment is preserved. And on the plus side I was able to have an extra day to think about the footage I needed and look at what I took and decide what worked and what didn’t.
Of course I had a million ideas of what the podcast intro could be but I’m incredibly pleased with the final result. If you’d like to take a sneak peek you can watch the podcast intro here.
I can’t say when the first episode will actually go live but I can tell you that I’ve watched this intro about 75 times and can’t wait to shoot more. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to shoot video.
I hope you enjoy!

I love it!!!
I want my own show now.
Wait a sec… I had one… Where did it go? Oh yeah… My equipment is gathering dust. Sigh. Need to get back on that.

Awesome, glad you liked it! I just wish I had time to write and shoot a darn episode to get this thing off the ground!
It’s been a while since I shot this but I still like it. I may change it down the road but I need to actually focus on what I want the episodes to be and how often to release etc. I think once a month would be sufficient. Also, I don’t want it to be a typical podcast, but more of a show format which is why it’s taking me so long.
